Preparing images for upload
It will save you a lot of time and bandwidth if you reduce the size of images before you upload them to your LayerSpace. Here’s a simple method to do it in Photoshop. This is for Photoshop CS2 but there are similar scripts in other versions.
First put all the images you wish to resize into one folder.
Go to Photoshop and choose File->Scripts->Image processor
Select the folder with the images that you wish to resize.
Select a folder in which to save the images
Choose Save as JPEG, quality 10, convert profile to sRGB
Select Resize to fit and set W:1500 pixels, H:1500 pixels.
Click Run and go and have a cup of tea.
When you come back you will have a nice folder of images all ready to upload to your LayerSpace.
